Paddling together, we have learned that there is life after a breast cancer diagnosis – paddling provides opportunities for increased fitness, emotional support and camaraderie.

We understand what survivors are going through – we are all in the same boat!

  • We are a team of breast cancer survivors and supporters who, through the sport of dragon boating, provide support to those with a breast cancer diagnosis, both on and off the water.
  • We hope to raise awareness and send a positive message to others living with breast cancer.
  • We paddle one or two evenings a week from May to September at Boulevard Lake; paddling together provides tremendous opportunities for increased physical strength and emotional support.
  • For over 25 years, the Dragons of Hope have paddled and raced locally, nationally and internationally.
  • We are a member of the International Breast Cancer Paddlers’ Commission (IBCPC) which has a membership of over 300 breast cancer survivor teams worldwide.
  • We invite anyone who has had a breast cancer diagnosis to contact us for more information regarding membership with our team.
